Obama Complains About Guns to Oprah Winfrey

Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots across America caused a record number of gun sales in 2020.

We all remember the violence that occurred through June, July, and August at the hands of radical leftists and anarchists trying to push our country into even more chaos. As a result of that violence, Americans were buying up guns and ammo at incredible rates.

Until that time, former President Barak Obama had been the best gun salesman gun owners had seen in years.

Obama was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey recently and complained about the lack of action on gun control during his administration.

You may remember that Obama once famously complained on the BBC that he was frustrated more was not done to attack gun rights. He wanted to turn America into the next England but was unsuccessful thanks to the efforts of gun owners in stopping him.

Here is what Obama said on the BBC back in July of 2015:

If you look at the number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism, it’s less than 100. If you look at the number that have been killed by gun violence, it’s in the tens of thousands. For us not to be able to resolve that issue has been something that is distressing.

If Joe Biden is certified on January 6th as President of the United States, Obama’s people who are largely behind Joe Biden’s efforts may get another crack at the 2nd Amendment. Kamala Harris, who is far more radical than Biden, will be itching to push her radical agenda on America.

Obama though is still wishing he could have done more.

Here is what he said to Oprah in his interview with her in November of this year about public shootings:

I have to say, Oprah, gun violence is one of those issues that I think we are far away from the promised land on because it’s become such a cultural hot button issue. It’s become wrapped up with people’s sense of identity and the degree to which the country is divided.

Obama followed up that comment and addressed his frustrations once again, as he did on the BBC, with the lack of action after the Sandy Hook shooting.

Here is what Obama told Winfrey:

But, I will say that was not only maybe the saddest day of my presidency, but when Congress failed to do anything in the aftermath of Sandy Hook was probably the angriest I ever was during my presidency. I was disgusted and appalled by the inaction.

Winfrey of course has been a strong gun control advocate for years and even dropped $500,000 to “March For Our Lives.”

Gun owners are going to be up against a wall in 2021 and if the Senate flips to the Democrats, who knows what is going to happen.

The Obama/Biden crowd really want to ban AR-15’s and other semi-automatic weapons if they gain control over all three branches of government. Gun owners can’t sit back and hope that doesn’t happen.

The ATF has been out of control and they are likely to get worse under Biden.

In a few days, the new year begins and we’ll once again be in the fight of our lives.
